There was also a delay in payment from Lewis Mason Thurston Area Agency on Aging (L.M.T.A.A.A.) because a current contract hadn’t been processed. Carol Brock said money to fund the Lewis County Seniors comes from the L.M.T.A.A.A., Lewis County, enrichment services, donations, fundraising, and the thrift store. Nora said enrichment services are beginning to return to normal. Some centers have in-person meals only. Ron Averill said meals are a large expense for the centers. Commissioner Grose said he feels the centers need to ask for a higher recommended donation for meals. Nora said Morton and Packwood have new senior center site leaders. Toledo and Winlock site leaders have been in place since January. Nora is looking to have a few fundraisers for the year. The events include a poker run, a night of magic, and then the Packwood center will be working during the flea market. Carol said the Lewis County Seniors group has partnered with companies to help with future marketing strategies. Meeting adjourned at 2:15 p.m.
