IN THE MATTER OF: RESOLUTION NO. 22-207
APPROVE AMENDMENT C TO CONTRACT
R01-0104-20 BETWEEN RELIABLE ENTERPRISES
AND LEWIS COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH AND
SOCIAL SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has
reviewed the Amendment C to contract R01-0104-20 C with Reliable Enterprises
with funding provided by the Washington State Department of Commerce,
through the housing assistance unit Emergency Solutions Grant; and
WHEREAS, these services create, design and implement targeted outreach
regarding how to prevent the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) among
individuals and families who are homeless or receiving homeless assistance; and
WHEREAS, Amendment C modifies Contract RO1-0104-20, which the BOCC
approved via Resolution 20-328 and amended via Resolution 21-185; and
WHEREAS, the original contract duration was August 1, 2020 through
September 30, 2022, and this amendment extends the contract duration to
September 30, 2023; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution
of said contract.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Amendment C to contract R0-0104-20
between Lewis County and Reliable Enterprises to create, design and implement
targeted outreach regarding how to prevent the Coronavirus pandemic
(COVID-19) among individuals and families who are homeless or receiving
homeless assistance from August 1, 2020 through September 30, 2023, is hereby
approved, and the Interim Director of Public Health and Social Service is
authorized to sign the same.
