Dolly Tardiff spoke about the Micro Lending program for small businesses. These are low interest loans
based on prime interest rates with 3 month terms.
Dolly said the Gary Stamper scholarship was awarded to Gary Dodson at the White Pass High School
senior night on June 5.
Richard DeBolt said Samantha Mitchell of the Youth Advocacy Council presented before the Economic
Alliance Board and Samantha Brumgartner with the Centralia Coalition presented as well. Richard said
the Autism Coalition will take place in July.
The Economic Alliance is currently working with IPAT with site negotiations.
Todd Chaput said donations and pledges were made during the Fox Theatre tour. Richard said there has
been great interest from the Cowlitz tribe in having cultural events.
Todd said he continues to have individual stakeholder meetings regarding upcoming projects that are
ARPA related. Todd said the Housing Alliance has started to have meetings on how to streamline
permitting and zoning. Commissioner Grose feels legislative changes will need to be addressed in order
to solve housing issues.
Todd said he is currently working with WDFW to reprioritize fish related passage projects based on
scheduled city and county projects to utilize the ”dig once” program.
Todd said having funding available for future projects impacts the completion timelines.
Todd said MIG Consulting identified key values based on community input and based on key data, they
will provide additional alternatives to save or protect people and structures.
