IN THE MATTER OF: RESOLUTION NO. 22-212
LEWIS COUNTY 2022 BUDGET EMERGENCY AND
SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS TO AND
TRANSFERS WITHIN CURRENT EXPENSE AND
VARIOUS FUNDS
WHEREAS, there is a need to hold a public hearing for the purpose of amending
the 2022 budget for Current Expense and various funds; and
WHEREAS, all those wishing to speak for or against the amendment shall be
afforded the opportunity to be heard. Said amendment will be available to review
and can be obtained from the Board of County Commissioners' (BOCC) Office.
Written comments may be submitted to the BOCC prior to or during said hearing.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC will hold a public hearing at
or after 10:00 a.m. August 2, 2022, in the Historic Courthouse at 351 N.W. North
Street, Chehalis, Washington. The hearing will be held to consider an amendment
to various departments within the 2022 budget for Current Expense and various
funds, increasing expenditures in the amount of $7,812,839, an increase in
revenue in the amount of $2,479,595 and use of estimated ending fund balance
in the amount of $5,333,244; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby instructs
the Clerk of the Board to proceed with all appropriate and necessary notifications,
posting and publication for the hearings as required by law.
