LEWIS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
IN THE MATTER OF: RESOLUTION NO. 22-215
AUTHORIZATION TO ESTABLISH THE RATE OF PAY
FOR A NON-UNION EXTRA HELP CIVIL SERVICE
SECRETARY
WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) establishes
compensation for employees at Lewis County, including Extra Help (casual)
employees; and
WHEREAS, some Extra Help (casual) positions will require pay above the Extra
Help pay scale; and
WHEREAS, on September 14, 2021, the BOCC established the rate of pay for the
Civil Service Secretary at $20.00 per hour through Resolution 21-337; and
WHEREAS, on July 11, 2022, the BOCC approved an increase for the Extra Help
Civil Service Secretary to be paid an hourly rate of $26.00 per hour.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Extra Help (casual) Civil Service
Secretary be paid an hourly rate of $26.00 per hour.
