Title II and Title III allocations: Becky Butler said the county has not yet received the documentation from the state needed for the Title II and Title III allocation discussion. Citizens Budget Committee • Commissioner Swope selected Tim Wood and Paul Crowner to represent District 1. • Commissioner Pollock selected Jerry Villarreal and Usha Sahadeva-Brooks to represent District 2. • Commissioner Grose selected Reynaldo Rodriguez to represent District 3. Veterans’ peer-to-peer funding request: Becky Butler said the PA’s Office is reviewing the Veterans Museum’s peer-to-peer counseling proposal for eligibility. Commissioner Pollock discussed a Thurston County proposal to have the Legislature change state law regarding the collection of taxes for veterans programs. Calendars: Commissioner Swope noted he may miss the July 26 Business Meeting. Minute folder: Commissioner Grose made a motion to approve the minute folder for the week of July 4, 2022. Commissioner Swope seconded. Motion passed 3-0. Announcements / new business: Steve Wohld discussed failed cattle-feeding stations used for the fair. He said community members are trying to raise $20,000 to replace the stations. He and the commissioners brainstormed funding possibilities and said they would add the topic to an upcoming agenda to further discuss it. Commissioner Swope commended LeMay for its help regarding trash collection at Exit 77. Meeting ended at 9:25 a.m.
