We would like to clarify the concerns with our RDD5 application. The two main concerns of water draw
and road traffic should not be an issue since we are only asking for 2-3 additional lots. One which will be
on the hill close to the cross and 1-2 on the west base of that same hill. The lot closest to the cross will
access from Coleman road and the other 2 will access from Birley road so the Coleman road traffic will
only increase by one more resident. Concerning water usage again there will be only 2-3 more wells
added to the area and only one on the hill, which seems to be the main concern. With respect to this
concern we have not heard of any wells having an issue except for one that is very shallow (20’ at most)
deep and another resident that has drilled a number of ‘dry wells’. All other wells close to this area are
250’ – 450’ with deep with 15-50 GPM and have not experienced water issues during the dry season.
