Public comment: None.
Vendor discussion for Fairground events: The commissioners discussed a request for signature-
gathering on county property. The commissioners said they would allow signature-gathering for groups
that rent a booth.
Parks & Rec. update: Steve Wohld discussed the upcoming derby and fireworks show. Steve said he is in
nego�a�ons for a poten�al buyer for the Mountain View Cemetery.
Steve said he is working with Alex Murray to create a Facili�es budget. He discussed the crea�on of an
equipment repair and replacement (ER&R) fund for maintenance. He said Facili�es will submit two
budgets, one that includes an ER&R fund.
Announcements / new business: Doug Carey said Millig plans to provide a jail HVAC update July 10 and
has offered to give each commissioner a tour of the changes.
Commissioner Swope said he’d like county staff to work on crea�ng interlocal agreements with Centralia
and Chehalis regarding nuisance abatement.
