At 2:01 p.m., Commissioner Swope announced that the Board would be going into executive session
under RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) until 2:31 p.m. to discuss the following four topics:
• Concrete School District v. DNR
• King Road – potential litigation
• Civil conversion – potential litigation
• Brittany Evers v. Lewis County Animal Shelter
At 2:31, Commissioner Swope extended executive session until 2:41 p.m.
Executive session ended at 2:41 p.m. Commissioner Swope noted that no decisions had been made.
Commissioner Brummer made a motion to approve the settlement authority as discussed in executive
session regarding the Evers litigation. Commissioner Pollock seconded. Motion passed 3-0.
Commissioner Pollock made a motion to approve having the county join proposed litigation as
discussed in executive session. Commissioner Brummer seconded. Motion passed 3-0.
