Public comment: None.
East Lewis County Public Development Authority: Becky Butler discussed op�ons regarding the East
Lewis County Public Development Authority (ELCPDA) .09 loan. She said the county could forgive the
loan, restructure the payment or waive the interest.
Budget amendment: Becky provided a preview on the upcoming budget amendment. She said the
Coroner’s Office and the Sheriff’s Office have requests for addi�onal funding. She discussed efforts to
find outside funding to cover costs for which amendments are being requested.
Youth Mentor funding: Becky said Treasury changes to the rules governing allowable uses of American
Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding will affect the Youth Mentor program, for which the county has
earmarked ARPA funding.
Lodging tax request regarding Granicus: Becky said it doesn’t look like administra�on costs can be used
to cover the use of Granicus.
Calendars: Ryan Barret reminded the commissioners of the Drug Court Christmas event taking place at
the end of the day.
