Gluesenkamp Perez’s office, Eric Eisenberg, Peter Lahmann, Chehalis City Manager Jill Anderson, Becky Butler, Toledo Mayor Pro Tem Eric Hayes, Kristine Rompa, Vader Mayor Joe Schey, Meja Handlen, Paul Mason, Stacy Davis of the PUD, Tanisha Harris of Sen. Cantwell’s office, Centralia City Manager Rob Hill, Kyle Markstrom, Morton Mayor Dan Mortensen Guest(s): Mitchell Roland, unnamed guests Recorder: Rieva Lester Public comment: None Erika Katt invited county leaders to attend emergency management training scheduled for December. Roundtable Participants shared updates, including the following: • Toledo Mayor Pro Tem Eric Hayes expressed concerns regarding costs associated with the incarceration of a school employee accused of abusing students. • Centralia City Manager Rob Hill discussed work being done regarding housing. • Cameron Cochran said Congresswoman Gluesenkamp Perez is opening a satellite office in Kelso. • Eric Eisenberg provided updates on the shelter and the county’s work on the Comprehensive Plan. • Kyle Markstrom discussed groundbreaking for a new Winco. • Jill Anderson discussed a vacancy on the Chehalis City Council, downtown revitalization work and the Bishop Road .09 project. • Paul Mason provided updates on WSDOT projects. Commissioner Brummer suggested switching to a bimonthly format for the Mayors’ Meeting. He said staff would reach out to area mayors to gauge their interest. Commissioner Brummer encouraged mayors to share any legislative requests with the county. Meeting adjourned at 9:37 a.m.
