Resolution 23-337: Commissioner Pollock made a motion to add to the Oct. 17, 2023, Business Meeting
Resolution 23-337: Approve a grant agreement between the Washington State Department of
Commerce and Lewis County Department of Community Development for the Periodic Update Grant in
the amount of $350,000. Commissioner Brummer seconded. Motion passed 3-0.
Budget amendment: Becky Butler reviewed figures for an upcoming budget amendment.
Temporary WIC position: John Abplanalp discussed the need for a grant-funded temporary position to
allow for succession planning. Commissioner Brummer made a motion to approve a temporary WIC
position. Commissioner Pollock seconded. Motion passed 3-0.
Minute folders: Commissioner Pollock made a motion to approve minute folders for the weeks of Aug.
21, Aug. 28 and Sept. 11. Commissioner Brummer seconded. Motion passed 3-0.
2024 holiday schedule: Commissioner Brummer made a motion to approve the 2024 holiday schedule
as proposed. Commissioner Pollock seconded. Motion passed 3-0.
