Attendees provided updates about projects their organizations are working on, including the following: Napavine Mayor Shawn O’Neill thanked the county for its support of the city’s Mayme Shaddock Park facelift. Sarah Kahout said Congresswoman Gluesenkamp Perez is working on funding for the Packwood sewer project and the port’s grain storage project. Toledo Mayor Pro Tem said the city is taking back ownership of its court and permitting work. Richard DeBolt said Economic Alliance is working to help cities secure funding. Paul Mason of the state Department of Transportation said WSDOT will install Interstate 5 metering in 2024. Resource-sharing opportunities: Mayor O’Neill said the city has a striper available for use via interlocal agreement. Meeting adjourned at 9:29 a.m.
