Agenda change: Commissioner Pollock made a motion to add community partnerships as an agenda topic. Commissioner Brummer seconded. Motion passed 2-0. Year-to-date cases: Warren McLeod said the Coroner’s Office has responded to 580 deaths year to date, including: • 5 homicides, but 1 transported out of county. • 15 suicides • 38 accidental deaths • 26 drug-related deaths • 2 undetermined cases • 3 pending toxicology reports Warren said Aloha Driving School has asked the Coroner’s Office to give a presentation about distracted driving. Warren said one of his core values is giving back to the community by being involved in various programs including the Traffic Safety Council, Cribs for Kids, Opioid Task Force, Lewis County Critical Incident Response Team, and Vulnerable Adult Task Force. Warren said he had no budget impact to report. Meeting ended at 11:50 a.m.
