Public comment: None.
Mountain View Cemetery: Becky Butler reviewed potential contingencies for the upcoming tax title sale
of Mountain View Cemetery. Becky said a press release and fact sheets about the sale would be released
likely later in the day.
At 9:06 a.m., Commissioner Pollock recessed the meeting until 9:30 a.m.
The meeting resumed at 9:30 a.m.
Legislative update:
Troy Nichols provided the following updates:
• North Lewis County Interchange work appears to be going well.
• Senior services efforts appear unsuccessful.
• Capital Budget requests have been submitted, including requests for an equestrian facility at the
fairgrounds and repairs of the museum roof.
• Request for Assessor / Treasurer tax software has been submitted.
• Requests regarding the regional fair have been a bit of a struggle.
Commissioner Pollock requested an update on Ceres Hill Road funding. Josh, Troy and Eric said they
were unaware it had been added to the county’s Legislative Agenda.
Josh discussed a proposed bill regarding Energy Facility Site Evaluation Council (EFSEC). The
commissioners said they would sign in support of the bill.
