• Doug Carey: Contractor for the Fairgrounds water system project should be on contract by the
end of June. The Engineer’s Estimate for the project is $890,000.
• Shad Hail: Superior Court has spent roughly $155,000 of the $500,000 it was awarded. The
Youth Mentorship Program currently serves 24 young people with the help of 12 one-on-one
mentors and seven group mentors.
• Jenn Libby-Jones: The RFP for 911’s $4.5 million radio infrastructure project closed May 9.
County staff is evaluating the three responses the county received.
• BJ Kuykendall: All $70,000 earmarked for the Mountain View Cemetery will have been
expended by the time the county transfers ownership of the cemetery.
• Grace Jimenez: The contract for the cost allocation has been awarded to Matrix Consulting
Group for payments totaling up to $28,000.
• Matt Jaeger: Microsoft 365 and Cisco projects are complete. Considering using leftover
technology funds to cover a case management system for Risk and HR to use.
Becky said all of the external ARPA projects – including those for the Fox Theatre, Roxy Theater, Vader
Water and the Napavine park project – are wrapping up and may be complete within the next quarter.
The group discussed drafting a resolution to approve a contract with Tyler regarding property tax
software needed for the Assessor’s Office and Treasurer’s Office.
