Josh Metcalf discussed a resolution to list the bids received and contractor selected for the decommissioning of underground storage tank and installation of above-ground storage tank. Josh Metcalf discussed a resolution to accept a bid on tax title property off of Silverbrook Rd, Randle. Josh Metcalf discussed a resolution to list the bids received and contractor selected for the Vader Water System Improvements Project. Josh Metcalf discussed a resolution to approve a contract between Lewis County Public Works and Otak, Inc. to provide engineering and environmental services for the Senn MP 0.89 Bridge Scour, CRP 2159R, and the Wildwood MP 10.14 Bridge Scour, CRP 2159S, Federal Aid Project No. BHOS-2021(074) and BHS- A211(004). Josh Metcalf discussed a hearing regarding the vacation of a portion of undeveloped Cannon Road in Packwood. Commissioner Pollock made a motion to move two consent items, four deliberation items and one hearing to the Tuesday, June 4, 2024, BOCC agenda. Commissioner Swope seconded. Motion passed 3-0. Wednesday Workshop Department heads provided updates including: • Internal Service Rate memos will go out later in the day. Offices and Departments will work with Matrix to establish rates. • East County Substation ribbon-cutting planned for August. • Special Olympics Torch Run is May 31. • Parks would like to apply for a grant for pickleball courts in Packwood.
