Finance Committee: Arny Davis started the Finance Committee meeting at 11:03 a.m. and the meeting
ended at 11:22 a.m.
Treasurer’s Office Updates: Rodney Reynolds said year-to-date tax receipts are flat compared to last
year. He said current expense shows 3% collected more than previous years.
Auditor’s Office Updates: Grace Jimenez said the general fund departments overall have expended 46%
of their budgets year to date. There was a slight increase due to payouts and tax software expenses.
Grace said the COVID response fund expired in June and there won’t be any further expenses for that
fund.
Grace said the SAO audit began May 31st. Grace said having a third party such as BerryDunn check
methodology and thought process has been helpful.
Larry Grove said 55,068 ballots will go out in today’s mail and the ballot boxes are now open. Larry said
there will be a security officer on the main floor from July 22 until the Aug. 6 primary. Ryan Barrett said
there will be a social media post and there was a press release sent out to notify the public of the new
location for the ballot box. Larry said ballot pick-up will begin on Monday.
