Public comment: None.
Becky Butler reviewed the draft Cost Allocation Plan and requested that the commissioners review and
deliberate about potential budget reductions. She also reviewed the following levy options regarding
the General Fund and Roads:
• 0 percent
• 1 percent
• 1 percent plus banked capacity
Becky noted that District Court has indicated it wants the commissioners to waive their request for
reductions and instead approve their request an additional position.
The group discussed tight restrictions regarding Public Health funding and effects proposed cuts would
have on the following:
• Sheriff’s Office
• Juvenile and jail
• District Court
Becky noted that some funds are restricted and could not be charged for indirect costs.
The commissioners directed staff to exclude the following from paying interfund rates:
• Animal Shelter
• Technology
• LEOFF 1
The commissioners directed staff to review Middle Fork water, Vader water and the airports.
