Public comment: None.
Fish passage: The commissioners directed Public Works to move forward with design for the Newaukum
fish passage project and to work toward securing willing participation from the affected landowners.
Packwood sewer: Josh Metcalf said he has submitted the appropriation and reallocation forms to
Commerce. He said negotiations regarding the pump station are ongoing.
Kennicott Road repairs: Josh said he believes the structural failure happened during construction. The
commissioners directed staff to move forward with the patch repair.
Packwood Brewing Company: The commissioners agreed to sign the letter to the County Engineer
requesting that he grant the Packwood Brewing owners the setbacks they requested.
Fire Commissioners Association meeting: The commissioners said they do not plan to attend the Nov.
18 meeting at Riverside Fire.
Sale of 508 property: At 10:28 a.m., Commissioner Brummer announced that the Board would be going
into executive session under RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) until 10:35 a.m. to discuss the sale of the county’s 508
property.
• At 10:36 a.m., Commissioner Brummer extended executive session until 10:39 a.m.
• At 10:39 a.m., Commissioner Brummer extended executive session until 10:42 a.m.
• At 10:42 a.m., Commissioner Brummer extended executive session until 10:47 a.m.
• At 10:47 a.m., Commissioner Brummer extended executive session until 10:49 a.m.
Executive session ended at 10:49 a.m. Commissioner Brummer noted that no decisions had been made.
Commissioner Pollock made a motion to decline the modification of closing date addendum regarding
the sale of State Route 508 property. Commissioner Brummer seconded. Motion passed 2-0.
Correspondence: Commissioner Brummer discussed an email received Oct. 31 and forwarded Nov. 1.
