Public comment: None.
Firefighter training station: Fire Chief Gregg Peterson and Lt. Patrick Jacobson discussed the creation of
a regional fire training center in Winlock. They said they are seeking grants and state funding and are
seeking letters of support from area jurisdictions. They said they will create a fact sheet and a sample
letter of support to share.
Interlocal agreements (ILAs) for co-management in urban growth areas (UGAs): Mindy Brooks
discussed upcoming meetings regarding managing growth and managing requirements in UGAs.
Mayors’ Meeting format: The group discussed the format for the quarterly Mayors’ Meeting. Proposals
included limiting attendance to only mayors, rotating meeting locations, etc.
Participants shared city, state and department updates.
