At 9:46 a.m., Commissioner Brummer announced that the Board would be going into executive session
under RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) until 10:11 a.m. to discuss the following three topics:
• Restorical Research (with outside counsel)
• Coroner’s Office employee
• Isaac West property
• Alisha Hornburg
At 10:11 a.m., Commissioner Brummer extended executive session until 10:16 a.m.
At 10:16 a.m., Commissioner Brummer extended executive session until 10:21 a.m.
At 10:21 a.m., Commissioner Brummer extended executive session until 10:24 a.m.
Executive session ended at 10:24 a.m. Commissioner Brummer noted that no decisions had been made.
Commissioner Pollock made a motion to authorize the BOCC chair to discuss employee matters with
the Coroner as discussed in executive session. Commissioner Swope seconded. Motion passed 3-0.
Commissioner Pollock made a motion to give the County Manager settlement authority regarding the
Alisha Hornberg matter as discussed in executive session. Commissioner Swope seconded. Motion
passed 3-0.
