2025-04-21 Wrap-Up CMBOCC Wrap-Up / County Manager Update April 21, 2025 9:01 a.m. Present: Commissioner Brummer, Commissioner Pollock, Commissioner Swope, County Manager Ryan Barrett, David Bailey, Angie Hodge, Geoff Soderquist, Becky Butler, Kendra Garrison, Gabe Anzelini, Kate Chatterton, Tammy Martin, Josh Weiss, Troy Nichols, Devin Gayton, Mindy Brooks, Rachel Lester, Sherri Dokken Guest(s): Unnamed guests Recorder: Rieva Lester Public comment: None. 2025 Legislative Session updates: Josh Weiss and Troy Nichols reviewed bills still moving forward through the Legislature, which is poised to end its 2025 session over the upcoming weekend. Agenda change: Commissioner Pollock made a motion to add to the April 22, 2025, BOCC Business Meeting: Resolution 25-122: Amend contract with Kifer Construction LLC for structural and roofing improvements on the 4-H Barn at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds. Commissioner Swope seconded. Motion passed 3-0. At 9:24 a.m., Commissioner Brummer announced that the Board would be going into executive session under RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) until 9:29 a.m. to discuss a health services HR issue. At 9:29 a.m., Commissioner Brummer extended executive session until 9:34 a.m. Executive session ended at 9:34 a.m. Commissioner Brummer noted that no decisions had been made. Geoff Soderquist said the county has learned it is receiving WSDOT funding for the Ceres Hill Road project. Meeting adjourned at 9:38 a.m.
