2025 Legislative Session updates: Josh Weiss and Troy Nichols reviewed bills still moving forward
through the Legislature, which is poised to end its 2025 session over the upcoming weekend.
Agenda change: Commissioner Pollock made a motion to add to the April 22, 2025, BOCC Business
Meeting: Resolution 25-122: Amend contract with Kifer Construction LLC for structural and roofing
improvements on the 4-H Barn at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds. Commissioner Swope
seconded. Motion passed 3-0.
At 9:24 a.m., Commissioner Brummer announced that the Board would be going into executive session
under RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) until 9:29 a.m. to discuss a health services HR issue.
At 9:29 a.m., Commissioner Brummer extended executive session until 9:34 a.m.
Executive session ended at 9:34 a.m. Commissioner Brummer noted that no decisions had been made.
Geoff Soderquist said the county has learned it is receiving WSDOT funding for the Ceres Hill Road
project.
