Public comment: None.
Resolution 25-118: Commissioner Swope made a motion to approve nunc pro tunc correction for
Resolution 25-118 to correct typographical errors in the interlocal agreement. Commissioner Pollock
seconded. Motion passed 2-0.
Broadband project update: Becky Butler discussed a request to extend the deadline for the broadband
project. Commissioner Swope made a motion to approve a 19-day extension, extending the deadline to
Aug. 1, for the broadband project and to direct the County Manager to sign the extension.
Commissioner Pollock seconded. Motion passed 2-0.
Executive session: At 9:03 a.m., Commissioner Pollock announced that the Board would be going into
executive session under RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) until 9:20 a.m. to discuss three topics: Davies tort claim,
Estrada tort claim and Napavine BLA / annexation request.
• At 9:20 a.m., Commissioner Pollock extended executive session until 9:30 a.m.
• At 9:30 a.m., Commissioner Pollock extended executive session until 9:35 a.m.
Executive session ended at 9:35 a.m. Commissioner Pollock noted that no decisions had been made.
Minute folders: Commissioner Swope made a motion to approve minute folders for the weeks of March
17, 24 and 31; and April 7 and 14. Commissioner Pollock seconded. Motion passed 2-0.
Emergency Management spokesperson: Erika Katt asked the commissioners if they would like verbiage
regarding spokespersons for emergency management incorporated in the upcoming DEM ordinance.
The commissioners directed staff to do so.
Calendars: The commissioners directed staff to schedule a Wrap-Up meeting the morning of May 27.
