The group discussed the proposed interlocal agreement with the City of Centralia to have Centralia law
enforcement provide Drug Court services on the county’s behalf since the Sheriff’s Office has indicated it
is unable to provide those services.
Judge Toynbee noted that Chief Andy Caldwell has expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, with the
hope that it isn’t just a couple-months-long temporary fix.
The group noted the interlocal agreement will go before the commissioners for approval July 15.
