Chehalis Interlocal Agreeement
Shared wells and septic permits need to be permitted first by the County
No development in the floodplain. The County does all the permitting in the floodplain.
Traffic Issues-when does a Traffic Impact Study get done? If the City does not believe they need
on, they need to submit this to the county
Communication- DRC process was started for communication. As of last October the packets are
large and there is no mention of UGA issues. Sometimes the packets are vague and unclear. One time
the packet was gone through and it was discovered that one property was outside the UGA. A
conversation started between Tim Elea and a city employee who denied it.
Two new additions to the agreement was
City has final and interpretive word over the UGA, this cannot be done. It is by grace they have
been given the authority.
Commissioner Schulte stated he is stepping back from this issue and on February 1, 2016 the County will
take this over.
Danette discussed the resolution on the CD-MH-TC Sales Tax. Danette discussed the matching money for
the grants.
