Commissioner Fund discussed the BOE Resolution to change the date change to BOE appeals. The group
discussed the impacts of passing this resolution. The Commissioners are focusing on the public service
aspect of this resolution and allowing more time for petitioners to appeal their taxes.
Commissioner Fund gave a brief overview on how the current LTAC Allocations meeting started. There
was a discussion on how the meeting would be handled today.
Glenn stated that developing Discover Lewis County was a technical issue and was not being handled by
anyone else in Lewis County. The people advising DLC needs to be the Commissioners, they are Lewis
County employees. Glenn stated they may need to look at an outside marketer at this point.
He also noted that our tourism promotion has not been effective in Lewis County. Developing Discover
Lewis County was to help with tourism promotion.
Commissioner Schulte discussed WP Scenic Byways reserve funds and how this built up.
Commissioner Stamper talked to Doug Fosburg from a local fire district; they are trying to buy a piece of
equipment. He wants to ensure that he has concrete budget numbers to apply for the loan for the piece
of equipment.
