Danette York discussed the Sale Tax funding for Cascade Mental Health. Before approving the
resolution there was some questions regarding the match funding.
The only school that could not afford was Pe Ell. White Pass also has some financial concern. The
program cannot be scaled back enough to keep Pe Ell in the program. He explained the history of the
program.
Commissioner Schulte asked what it costs to provide this service to Pe Ell.
Matt Patten stated the total cost for that position was $18,000 for a quarter time position.
Commissioner Schulte recommending giving all the schools who were granted an award $15,000.
Ron Averill asked about Centralia.
Commissioners recommended Centralia communicate with Cascade Mental Health and Danette York to
work out the details and then bring the information back to the Commissioners.
Meeting recessed at 11:45 am until 3:00 pm.
