2015-12-07 WUBOCC Wrap up December 7, 2015 8:30 am Present: Commissioners Fund, Stamper and Schulte, Eric Eisenberg, Glenn Carter and David Fine Recorder: Karri Muir CWOG interlocal Glenn gave the history of the COG and it goes back to 1994. It is intended to provide regional issues and is not granted authority to run an agency. The current interlocal gives COG the administrative duties, legal entity undertakings and COG does not have this authority. There is not constitutional authority to do what COG wants to do. The reason this matters is because they do employee people, they have an office. Is there is ever a claim by an employee. We have not been able to find documentation that makes Lewis County as a part of COG. Commissioner Schulte stated they have been in business for years and he would like better understanding on who is COG. Glenn stated we will find out what the COG is and their legal authority. There was discussion on having Bill Fashing and possibly his lawyer in to discus with the Commissioners. Karri will set up this meeting in the near future. Commissioner Fund reported that she called Regina King regarding the Timberland Library Board. Karri discussed WebQA public disclosure software and the need for it in the County. Meeting adjourned at 9:55 am
