2016-01-04 WUBOCC Wrap-up January 4, 2016 8:30 am Present: Commissioners Stamper, Fund, Archie Smith, Daleyn Coleman Recorder: Karri Muir Archie discussed the Juvenile Court Administrator Position and the grading of the position. Commissioner Schulte stated if the Judges would like the position reclassified, then it should be reclassified. Archie will look into the reclassification of this position. There was discussion on how this situation was handled and how these types of situations will be handled in the future. Archie will be looking into this also. He will discuss with legal on how this will be handled. Archie discussed that 911 filed a ULP on the County. Archie would like to bring Summit Law Group to handle this ULP. He will call them today and find out what this will cost. He will get an estimate to the Board. Archie and Daleyn left the meeting at 9:00 am. Commissioner Fund paid for the Chamber of Commerce Dinner and the other Commissioners will reimburse her. Commissioner Schulte discussed the chair of the ESC. He feels Commissioner Fund should continue to chair the ESC. A resolution to update the mileage rate will be added on to the BOCC Business Agenda. Two applications were received for the Timberland Library Board. Commissioner Fund discussed the applicants. One of the applicants might be a better fit for the SWW Fair Board. There was discussion on the City of Morton Council Appointments. Karri has sent an email to their Clerk for an update. There was discussion on the District Court closure discussion. There was discussion on the lease agreement for the Bob Lyle Center. A public meeting will be held in the East end of the County. Steve Mansfield let the BOCC know there were 59 properties destroyed in the November and December 2015 weather storms. Meeting adjourned at 9:55 am.
