1 Administrative
-Surplus Property
Briefed the BOCC on the upcoming surplus property list and resolution.
Commissioner Fund asked if they could release it to the Mayor’s at their next meeting.
Yes. No action by the BOCC on this item.
Auditor Larry Grove participated in a discussion reference locating a ballot drop
box in the Health Bldg. parking lot so citizens would have an option to drove through and
drop their ballots off. All Commissioners were in favor of it and we will be moving
forward with the process.
2. E911/Radio
-Spillman Server Migration Jan. 18th
Spillman Server migration is scheduled for the week of Jan. 18th. Will be moving
the system from an IBM based server to a Linux based server. Which should speed up
the processes. No action by the BOCC on this item.
-2016 Phone replacement (ECW)
*Grays Harbor 911
Interlocal purchasing agreement with Grays Harbor is scheduled for next Monday
BOCC Hearing for approval. Will allow us to purchase a new 911 phone system through
Motorola with the State DEM paying for it. No action at this time.
3. Information Technology
-Office location realignment
IT Office space realignment is progressing.
-DLC Video RFQ
The RFQ for Video Production Services to support DiscoverLewisCounty.com is
ready and will be on the Monday, Jan. 11th
4. Facilities
-Supervisor Position Promotion
Advised the BOCC that Facilities Electrican Matt Patana has been promoted to
Facilities Supervisor. Will be preparing a PAF to back fill the electrian position.
-Electrician vacancy
See above.
-Elevator update (ThyssenKrump)
The service agreement has been approved by both parties involved.
ThyssenKrump provided information that they will be here this week to troubleshoot and
start the repair process.
-Projects update
* Evidence Entrance Awning. Finished
Completed minus the painting and gutter work which is delayed due to weather.
*IT Office space (Inspection)
The City of Chehalis completed their inspection of the IT remodel as required.
All areas passed and we can now sheetrock and proceed to finish up the project. No
action by the BOCC on this item.
*Animal Shelter Septic Finishing up
Finishing up the new Animal Shelter Septic system. The L&I required intrinsic
controller should be installed on Wednesday and final plumbing after that. No action by
the BOCC on this item.
5. Fair
-Personnel
Brief update on personnel issue at the fair with no action by the BOCC at this
time.
-Fair Commission
