The group went over the permitting discussion that will be presented to the Chamber of Commerce
today.
Commissioner Fund discussed the Distressed Counties .09 Meeting. There was discussion on how long
the applicants can keep a project open. Money was granted to go to EDC for IPAT funding.
Commissioner Fund discussed the senior meeting she attended. Someone at the meeting asked when
the center is going to be painted.
Commissioner Schulte reported on the WCIF meeting he attended. Claims are coming about 5% higher
than the premiums. He assumes there will be a 10% increase on insurance premiums.
Commissioner Fund discussed a meeting she had with Dale Pullen. A conversation was held regarding
the Tourist Promotion Area and the County not helping out with the process. She let him know that the
County does not have very many hotels that have over 40 rooms.
