Environmental Services Division– Significant issues as of January 29, 2016
SIGNIFICANT ISSUES
1. Templeton, Howard - 120 Wright Rd, Glenoma (DISTRICT 3) Updated information
from the Ecology and Fish & Wildlife reference the alleged impounding structure backing
up water in the area.
2. Norris, Bruce and Nichols, Delbert, 242 US Hwy 12, Chehalis (DISTRICT 2) Updated
information on this ongoing dispute and recent allegations.
3. Lake Terrace Dr., Mossyrock (DISTRICT 3)
4. Lyons, James – 254 Jones Rd, Winlock WA (DISTRICT 2) – Issue involving unwanted
tenant and animals in a recreation vehicle on his property.
5. Wagner, Bernice – 1620 W. Reynolds Ave, Centralia (DISTRICT 1) – Homeless
encampments near the cell tower creating worsening solid waste issues. Property owner is
elderly/out of the county as well as her daughter. Has no easy way to travel and clean up the
solid waste.
6. Deck, Leilani – 0 State Route 12, Mossyrock (by the arch bridge) (DISTRICT 3) –
Property has been gated and locked. Several RV’s covered by tarps and new tents appearing
on site.
7. Ming, Helen – 399 Tune Rd, Chehalis (DISTRICT 2) – Massive stockpile (perhaps
thousands) of old household appliances on the property. We are seeking information from
the owner/operator to determine if this is a recycling (materials recovery facility) or solid
waste issue. Concerns of solid waste, hazardous components and refrigerator compression
gasses.
8. Turnage, Danny – 218 Flynn Rd, Mossyrock (DISTRICT 3) – Same issue with used
household appliances, just not nearly as many.
