III. Invoicing
1. The County shall submit invoices on a quarterly basis in a format approved by the County.
10th of the month following the last month of the quartet Invoices shall total 25% of annual budget.
2. In the event there is a conflict within this agreement in regards to the payment of invoices, Exhibit B
controls this section.

4, Payment by Lewis County will be considered timely if it Is made within 30 days of the receipt
and acceptance of billing information from the County. Lewis County may withhold payment of an
Invoice if the County submits it more than 30 days after the expiration of this contract.
5. Invoices must include the following statement, with an authorized signature and dater
I certify that the materials have been furnished, the services rendered, or the labor performed
as described on this invoice.
6. Duplication of Billed Costs or Payments for Service Thurston County shall not bill Lewis County
for services performed or provided under this contract, and the Lewis County shall not pay the
Thurston County, if the Thurston County has beenor will be paid by any other source, including
grants, for those costs used to perform or provide the services In this contract. The Contractor is
responsible for any audit exceptions or disallowed amounts paid as a result of this contract.
