At 9:30 a.m., Commissioner Pollock announced that the Board would be going into executive session until 9:50 a.m. to discuss ACLU litigation and Restorical Research / Centralia landfill under RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) and the Kresky building under RCW 42.30.110(1)(c). At 9:50 a.m., Commissioner Brummer extended executive session until 9:53 a.m. Executive session ended at 9:53 a.m. Commissioner Brummer noted that no decisions had been made. Commissioner Pollock made a motion to authorize the county staff to continue deliberations related to 2025 Kresky Ave. as discussed in executive session. Commissioner Swope seconded. Motion passed 3-0. Commissioner Swope made a motion to direct the PA’s Office to respond to the ACLU regarding the needle exchange program as discussed in executive session. Commissioner Brummer seconded. Motion passed 2-1, with Commissioner Swope and Commissioner Brummer in favor and Commissioner Pollock opposed. The commissioners agreed to sign the letter regarding the urban growth area interlocal agreement. Meeting ended at 9:57 a.m.
