Public comment: None.
Minute folders: Commissioner Pollock made a motion to approve minute folders for the weeks of Sept.
1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 and Oct. 6 and 13. Commissioner Swope seconded. Motion passed 3-0.
Plan administration for insurance: Angie Hodge, Becky Butler and Graham Gowing discussed the need
to better outline the insurance rate structures.
Resolution 25-322: Mindy Brooks discussed the proposed resolution.
Commissioner Pollock made a motion to approve Resolution 25-322: Authorize the Community
Development Director to notice a Request for Qualifications for the Qualified Professionals List
through OpenGov. Commissioner Swope seconded. Motion passed 3-0.
Executive session: At 9:21 a.m., Commissioner Brummer announced that the Board would be going into
executive session under RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) until 9:36 a.m. to discuss four topics: Logistics Property Co.,
Port / Centralia mediation, public defense contracts and shelter contractor requirements.
• At 9:36 a.m., Commissioner Brummer extended executive session until 9:46 a.m.
• At 9:46 a.m., Commissioner Brummer extended executive session until 9:48 a.m.
Executive session ended at 9:48 a.m. Commissioner Brummer noted that no decisions had been made.
Commissioner Pollock made a motion to proceed with the Knight Fire contractor regarding the homeless
shelter as discussed in executive session. Commissioner Swope seconded. Motion passed 3-0.
Commissioner Pollock noted that the deadline for .09 applications has been extended to Dec. 5.
