Becky Butler discussed a notice of hearing for Lewis County 2026 budget emergency and supplemental
appropriations to and transfers within current expense and various funds.
Kimberly Edminster discussed a notice of hearing for the renewal of a franchise to Lewis County PUD No.
1 to install, construct, operate and maintain telecommunications facilities in Lewis County road rights of
way.
Mindy Brooks discussed a resolution to authorize the County Manager to sign an addendum to the UGA
Co-Management ILA with the City of Chehalis to extend the termination date.
Rieva Lester discussed a resolution to approve a $237,775.35 Distressed Counties (.09) grant to the
Napavine School District for its Ag Building Infrastructure project.
Rieva Lester discussed a resolution to approve a $484,615.00 Distressed Counties (.09) grant to City of
Chehalis Public Works for its Market Street Pinch Point project.
Becky Butler discussed a resolution to accept the proposal for the purchase and transfer of surplus
property for parcel No. 021650002002 at 2025 NE Kresky Ave.
Rieva Lester discussed a resolution to appoint Gail Hakola to the Great Rivers Behavioral Health
Administrative Services Organization (BH-ASO) Advisory Board.
Rieva Lester discussed a resolution to appoint Todd Chaput to the Pacific Mountain Workforce
Development Council.
Rieva Lester discussed a resolution to list the bids received and newspaper selected for Lewis County
legal printing for July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.
Assessor Ross Nielson discussed a hearing to approve Open Space Land designation and assessed value
reduction for parcel Nos. 014731009004 and 014731009006.
Commissioner Swope made a motion to move two notice items, two consent items, seven deliberation
items and one hearing to the Tuesday, April 7, 2026, BOCC agenda. Commissioner Pollock seconded.
Motion passed 2-0.
Announcements / new business
Becky Butler invited the group to upcoming Risk handbook training.
Matt Patana reminded employees that parking lots will be closed beginning at 5:30 p.m. April 3.
Commissioner Pollock said Coastal Community Action Program will give a presentation on its
Coordinated Entry program on April 7 and that Employee recognition will take place April 28.
