Finance Committee: Treasurer Arny Davis started the Finance Committee at 10:46 a.m. Arny discussed
the first quarter of 2026. The Finance Committee portion of the meeting ended at 10:52 a.m.
Treasurer’s Office Updates: Arny provided updates regarding the county’s investment pool, lodging
taxes and revenues.
Auditor’s Office Updates: Grace Jimenez said a few departments within the general fund have
expended slightly higher year-to-date than predicted but have reasonable explanations. Grace also
explained that ARPA funds are wrapping up.
Larry Grove said there are no April elections. May 4th begins filing week for the November election. Larry
welcomed two new employees in Licensing and Recording.
