Supplement No. 1 with SCJ Alliance for Borst Avenue Improvement Project BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF LEWIS COUNTY, WASHINGTON IN THE MATTER OF: } Approving Supplement No. 1 with SCJ Alliance for } RESOLUTION 18- 0 50 the Borst Avenue Improvement Project } WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) ratified a consultant contract with SCJ Alliance for the Borst Avenue Improvement Project by Resolution 17-127 on May 1, 2017. The contract allowed negotiation for additional future phases for final design, bidding support and construction engineering once construction funding was acquired; and WHEREAS, Resolution 17-377 was approved by the BOCC which accepted Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) funding for the Borst Avenue Improvement Project; and WHEREAS, Public Works staff has negotiated a contract in the amount of $567,734.00 with SCJ Alliance for final design, bidding support and construction engineering for the project; and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC has determined that execution of Supplement No. 1 to the SCJ Alliance contract for the Borst Avenue Improvement Project is in the best public interest and is hereby approved and the Director of Public Works is authorized to sign the same.
