WHEREAS, Washington State requires the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners
(BOCC) to approve, conditionally approve or reject water system comprehensive plans within Lewis
County (Revised Code of Washington 57 16.010) and,
WHEREAS, Lewis County Water District#2 has completed its comprehensive water system
plan and submitted the plan for County staff review and
WHEREAS, Lewis County Health and Public Works staff have completed review of Lewis
County Water District#2's "Water System Plan, Revised October 2018" and
WHEREAS, Lewis County Health, Community Development and Public Works staff have
advised the BOCC that the plan is conditionally acceptable, and
WHEREAS, the proposed action in the area under consideration is in compliance with the
development program outlined in the County Comprehensive Plan and its supporting documents, and
WHEREAS, the proposed action in the area under consideration is in compliance with the
basin-wide water plan as approved by the State Department of Health, and
WHEREAS, the proposed action is in compliance with the policies expressed in the county
plan for water facilities, and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby approves the Lewis County
Water District#2 Water System Plan dated October 2018
