WHEREAS, RCW 47 48 010 gives authority to the county legislative authority to close roads
for a period of time, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for Lewis County to facilitate the Borst Avenue Safety
Improvement project within the County right of way, and
WHEREAS it will be necessary to close the portion of Borst Avenue between North
Scheuber Road and Eshom Road to all through traffic during the Safety Improvement project and
WHEREAS, Borst Avenue will remain open for local access from either end up to but not
beyond the point of closure and other county roads are available for detour
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, pursuant to RCW 47 48 010 and 020,
beginning July 12 2019 and ending December 11, 2019, Borst Avenue between North Schueber
Road and Eshom Road, in Section 1 Township 14 North Range 3 West, W.M. shall be closed to
all through traffic

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners, Lewis County,
Washington, has approved the temporary closure of a portion of Borst Avenue between
North Schueber Road and Eshom Road, to all through traffic During the closure the
road will remain open to local access from either end up to but not beyond the point of
closure, and other county roads are available for detour Pursuant to RCW 47 48 010
and 020, effective July 12, 2019 through December 11, 2019 that Borst Avenue
described above in Section 1, Township 14 North, Range 3 West, W M , shall be closed
to all through traffic

Description
To facilitate the Borst Avenue Safety Improvement project it will be necessary for Lewis County to close Borst
Avenue to all through traffic during the Safety Improvement project Borst Avenue will remain open for local
access from either end up to but not beyond the point of closure. This resolution would,pursuant to RCW
