Present: Commissioner Jackson, Commissioner Fund, County Manager Erik Martin

Commissioner Fund made a motion to move two items – a call
for bids for Rock Proposals and the addition of a deputy
treasurer on the salary grid to the day’s BOCC agenda.
Commissioner Jackson seconded the motion.
Motion passed 2-0.
Commissioner Fund discussed Ferry County’s ordinance to
change speed limits to allow for more WATV-approved roads.
Erik Martin said changing speed limits would not be the best
practice. Commissioner Jackson said he has been speaking with
groups about extending WATV use to the western portion of
the county.
Commissioner Jackson said he would ask Commissioner Stamper if he’d like to serve as the RTPO
alternate.
Rieva Lester said the Census Bureau would like to establish a point person for outreach related to the
2020 Census.
The commissioners signed a letter to CJ Neer indicating her departure from Destination Packwood
means she no longer meets the requirements to serve as on the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee.
Commissioner Fund discussed the Office of the Chehalis Basin’s recent meeting. She noted that the
governor’s office has preliminarily earmarked money for OCB but that it was roughly $20 million short of
what was requested.
Erik Martin said he and Becky Butler will review the budget calendar for the year later in the day.
Commissioner Fund said Pac Mountain is working on case management.
Erik Martin said he has reached out to Steve Ward as Commissioner Fund requested.
