The deadline for .09 applications is the last Friday of February. At this time, they haven’t received any
applications.
Matt said they are still working with a biotech company and a wood product company.
Matt said they have a lead who is interested in the Packwood area.
Matt provided a Legislative update.

Matt Matayoshi discussed the Rosh Road interchange project. He said the EDC has no requestor at the
time. Commissioner Jackson said he is working with Mike Kroll regarding Transportation Improvement
Board funding.
The group briefly discussed the proposed grain terminal.
Matt noted that the state has no transportation budget for the year, potentially hampering efforts
regarding the proposed Rush Road interchange project.
Commissioner Fund noted that Chris Dodd has left Winlock’s Community Development team and that
Jen Slemp now fills the role.
