Present: Commissioner Stamper, Commissioner Fund, Coroner Warren McLeod, Gary Fredricks (10:26
a.m.), Jason Adams (10:26 a.m.)

Warren McLeod gave the following year-to-date statistics: 128 deaths – including one homicide, one
suicide, four accidentals, two undetermineds and four pending. He said his office has performed eight
autopsies and three “externals.”
Warren said the office already has six participants enrolled so far for the upcoming Dig Class.
Warren noted that he would be testifying at the state Legislature later in the day.
Warren said paid toxicology reports are only being sent for cases that are pending toxicology reports. He
said law enforcement agencies locally have committed to paying for those for cases that hinge on the
test.
Warrant discussed an effort to create an academy of sorts for coroners’ offices.
The group discussed response to the recent storm.
