Matt discussed .09 applications. He received applications from the City of Winlock, the City of Vader,
and the Port of Chehalis.
Matt discussed legislative updates. EDC has made requests for capital expenses for Packwood Sewer,
Mickelson Parkway, FEMA Flood plain map amendment, and Rush Road Improvements.
Matt asked if the BOCC has been approach regarding opportunity zones. A letter was sent to both ports
and IPAT. Matt only heard back from two so he has designated the two as opportunity zones.
Opportunity zone allows a capital gains tax to be waived for 10 years.
Smart tank is on track. They have ten groups interested.
Matt toured UNFI on Sunday and it is very impressive. They are planning on a July opening.
Commissioner Jackson left the meeting at 1:36 p.m.

APWA Coal Creek project won project of the year. APWA awards will be on April 25th.
