Present: Commissioner Jackson, Commissioner Fund, Commissioner Stamper, Josh Metcalf, County
Manager Erik Martin, Archie Smith, and Frederick Williamson

Josh Metcalf introduced Frederick Williamson, who is his top candidate for the airport manager position.
Josh then discussed the interview process.
Frederick discussed his background and his vision for Lewis County airports.
Commissioner Stamper has concerns that it is a part-time job and he wants to make sure that the
manager is able to attend events at the airport.
Frederick said driving is a concern but he will not have an issue if it is 3 days a week. If it were 7 days a
week that would be the issue.
Commissioner Stamper would like to see the airport manager promoting our airports at community
meetings.
Erik Martin mentioned that with the airport being under Public Works there is more support there. We
have staff that can help assist with getting the outreach.
