Erik Martin said Danette York has submitted her resignation. He said her last day will be in 30 days.
Commissioner Stamper joined at 9:03 a.m.
Josh Metcalf joined at 9:08 a.m.
Danette and Erik left at 9:09 a.m.
Commissioner Stamper made a motion to add the following five items to the day’s Business Meeting
agenda:
• Resolution to authorize the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners to waive attorney-
client
• privilege
• Resolution to restrict outdoor burning throughout lands regulated by Lewis County
• Resolution to list the bids received and contractor selected for the North Fork Road Realignment
Project
• Resolution to list the bids received and contractor selected for the purchase of one Skid Steer
Loader
• Resolution to list the bids received and contractor selected for the Highway Safety Improvement
Program
Commissioner Fund seconded.
Commissioner Jackson clarified that the commissioners would only be authorized to waive attorney-
client privilege in certain circumstances.
Josh Metcalf discussed the bid awards added to the day’s agenda.
Motion passed 3-0.
The commissioners signed a corrected copy of Resolution 19-130.
Commissioner Fund said the group can review back-ups for committees at a later date.
Commissioner Fund discussed a group effort when applying for WSAC boards / commissions.
Commissioner Fund discussed WSAC work on indigent defense, pretrial medical expenses, noxious
weeds, etc.
Commissioner Fund said the Legislative Roundtable will be Oct. 4.
The commissioners reviewed minutes from the May 7, 2019, PA Update.
The commissioners reviewed their calendars.
Peter Lahmann invited Commissioner Stamper to the June 27 PacMtn budget meeting.
Lee Grose discussed Destination Packwood’s upcoming meeting. He noted that DPA had not asked the
state to fast-track plans for the donation of state lands in Packwood.
The commissioners further discussed their calendars.
The commissioners signed thank you letters to 19th and 20th District lawmakers.
Commissioner Stamper said he would be leaving May 14 for a conference.
Peter Lahmann discussed PacMtn’s May 8 meeting.
