Todd Chaput said bid requests for the second-floor project went out earlier in the day.
Todd said the second floor could become home to batting cages, simulators, etc.
Commissioner Stamper and County Manager Erik Martin joined at 2:32 p.m.
Todd said Apex is working on naming rights. He said face-to-face meetings with candidates on the
naming rights list could take place in the next couple of months. He said the contract with Apex runs for
one year, and he discussed the estimated value for marketing.
Todd said the PFD has issued a request for proposals for grant writers. Todd said the PFD is interested in
economic development grants to help cover parking and sewer costs.
Todd said the PFD met with the school board earlier in the day and is reviewing its interlocal agreement.
