Becky Butler and Erik Martin said a call letter, interfund rates and limitations will be sent out the week
of Aug. 12.
She said they will be due back Sept. 9.
Becky said she’ll set up dates for resolutions and meetings. She said she’ll send out a request for Citizens
Budget Committee volunteers Aug. 12.
Becky said the Capital Facilities Committee has approved the purchase of elections equipment. She said
the Auditor has identified $20,000 in the O&M fund that can be used toward the purchase and that the
county cost would be $180,000.
Becky asked where the $50,000 for the audio upgrades for the hearing room would come from. She
asked if the plan was to use the $500,000 earmarked for technology.
Erik Martin stressed the need to put more money aside for capital improvements.
The group discussed public safety taxes and COLAs. Commissioner Fund left at 3:58 p.m. as the
discussion turned to repayment of Judge Samuelson’s retirement shortfall.
Commissioner Jackson and Commissioner Stamper approved the purchase of the Elections equipment.
