Chris Roden stated the PUD is working on writing two CERB grant applications. One grant request is to
help serve the Benaroya project in Winlock, as well as serving the south Lewis County area.
Chris spoke about the recent power outages. The outage in July was listed as an unknown fault. It is
possible that a tree fell on the line.
Chris stated that the PUD met with Centralia City Light and Bonneville Power Administration. They hope
that this meeting will help get the power restored sooner when there is an outage.
Chris discussed cyber security concerns and the testing that is required for the PUD.
Chris said the PUD is working on increasing their presence in the community. He also has appointed a
Broadband Manager.
